Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Beat shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Stir dry mixture into top 3 ingredients.
    Shape into balls (about size of walnut). Roll balls in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Press balls down with a fork and bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
