Best Chocolate Fudge Sauce For Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. powdered sugar, sifted
    1 2/3 c. evaporated canned milk
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt first 2 ingredients over low heat.
    Add alternately the sugar and milk (1 can).
    Blend well after each addition.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Cook and stir about 7 or 8 minutes until thick and creamy.
    Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
    Cool.
    Pour into a jar.
    This sauce will keep a long time in the refrigerator.
