Salmon Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can red salmon
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    salmon liquid plus milk to make 1 c.
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Drain canned salmon, saving liquid.
    Remove bones and make white sauce by blending butter or margarine over low heat with flour and liquid.
    Add egg, salmon and seasonings.
    Butter 2 slices of bread and cube.
    Put salmon in a greased pan; add cubed bread and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
