Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Preparation

Mix ingredients in given order.
Pour in greased and floured stem pan.
Place in cold oven.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
