Linguine With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans minced clams (do not drain)
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
    1 (1 lb.) box linguine
    1/3 c. olive oil (salad oil)
    3 large cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Slowly heat oil and butter in medium skillet.
    Add garlic and saute until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat. Stir in clam liquid, parsley and salt; bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
    Add clams; simmer 3 minutes or until heated through.
    Serve hot over linguine with garlic bread and salad.
    Serves 8.
