Carciofi-Fritti(Fried Artichokes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 boiled artichoke hearts, fresh or canned
    4 eggs
    6 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 pinch oregano
    1 pinch dry basil
    1 pinch garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Sprinkle hearts with salt, garlic powder and pepper.
    Mix parsley, oregano and basil with bread crumb mixture.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Dip hearts in egg and roll in bread crumb mixture.
    Fry in hot oil, about 3 minutes, on each side or until golden brown. Serves 6 to 8.
