Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 soup bones or 4 ribs (fat trimmed)
    1 large chopped onion
    4 stalks chopped celery
    3 diced potatoes
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    salt and pepper
    1 to 2 boxes thawed mixed vegetables
    1/2 c. extra corn
    1 c. extra lima beans
    1 c. tomato sauce
    4 chopped carrots
    1 small head cabbage (optional)
Preparation
    Cover soup bones and meat with water.
    Add celery and onions and carrots.
    Boil about 1 hour.
    Add remaining ingredients. Return to a boil then simmer until potatoes are done, 15 to 20 minutes.
