Candied Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. carrots
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 stick oleo
dash of salt
Preparation
-
Cut carrots in thick slices.
Combine all ingredients in covered saucepan.
Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.
Uncover saucepan and cook until heavy syrup is formed. Be careful not to burn.
