Football Game Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 large onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes, undrained
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 cans kidney beans, undrained
Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet.
Add meat and cook until brown.
Add onion and garlic salt.
Drain grease.
Add salt, oregano and Tabasco sauce.
Break up tomatoes and add along with kidney beans. Mix well and bring to simmer.
Taste for seasonings and correct if needed.
Simmer, covered, for 1 to 2 hours.
If mixture is too thick, add tomato juice.
When serving, sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top, if desired.
