Chili Mac(A Pluma Bennett Favorite) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. ground beef
3 1/2 c. cooked tomatoes (one No. 2 1/2 can)
2 1/2 c. cooked kidney beans (one No. 2 can)
2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. chili powder
6 oz. macaroni
Preparation

Melt fat in skillet.
Add onion, green pepper and beef.
Cook until brown.
About 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes, kidney beans, salt, chili powder and elbow macaroni.
Mix well.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Serve hot.
Makes 6 servings.
