One Egg Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and salt.
Beat well.
Add flour and milk alternately.
Beat well; add vanilla.
Put in greased and floured loaf pan.
