Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, soda, flour and salt.
    Stir until blended.
    Add eggs and fruit cocktail.
    Stir by hand until well mixed.
    Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Over top sprinkle brown sugar and chopped nuts.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
