Popcorn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. fresh corn, cut off cob
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. half and half
    popcorn
Preparation
    Cook corn in 1 cup milk until tender.
    Melt margarine and saute onion until soft.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper; then additional milk, half and half and cooked corn.
    Cook until thickened.
    Sprinkle top of soup with popcorn before serving. Serves 4.
