Spinach And Bacon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh spinach
    2 heads red leaf or 1 head iceberg lettuce
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. onion juice or finely grated
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. salad oil
    1 1/2 c. large curd cottage cheese (optional)
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed (optional)
Preparation
    Wash and drain greens.
    Break off stems and tear apart. Combine lettuce and spinach.
    Drain, cool and crumble bacon.
    Add to greens.
