Cucumber Summer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
1 small bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 c. sugar
1 medium sized onion, thinly sliced
3/4 c. white vinegar
3 to 4 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Chill in refrigerator overnight, letting all the flavorings penetrate the cucumber while tightly covered.
Preferably in a Tupperware bowl. Serve as a side dish with chicken or beef entrees.
