Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Flour and grease pan (2 round or 1 sheet cake pan).
