Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten well
1 c. sour milk
1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease well and dust with flour two 9-inch or 3 (8-inch) cake pans.
Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together; set aside.
Cream shortening. Add sugar gradually, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla and eggs.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in flour mixture alternately with sour milk.
Mix cocoa and hot water to form a smooth paste; beat into batter.
