Almond Dream Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 graham crackers
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    1 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 c. sliced almonds (divided)
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped dried apricots
    Almond Icing (see directions following)
Preparation
    Line bottom of a buttered 8-inch square pan with 9 graham crackers.
    In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and evaporated milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil.
    Remove from heat. Immediately stir in graham cracker crumbs, 3/4 cup almonds, coconut and apricots.
    Reserve remaining almonds for topping.
