Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix ingredients in order given, sifting soda with flour.
If using sweet milk, reduce soda to 1/4 teaspoon.
Bake in cake pan or muffin pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
