Grannie Thurston'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
Preparation
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll them in sugar.
    Place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove from baking sheet immediately.
    (Cookies will firm quickly as they cool.)
