Hobo Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. raisins
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. Crisco oil
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients.
    Let stand overnight.
    Add the remaining
    ingredients
    the
    next
    morning.
    Line 3 empty coffee cans with wax paper.
    Divide batter into 3 cans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Turn out of cans. Allow to cool.
