Hot Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. whole milk
    4 Tbsp. sugar or to taste
    dash of nutmeg
    4 eggs, separated
    rum extract to taste
Preparation
    Cream egg yolks and sugar until light in color.
    Heat milk to boiling point and add a little to the creamed mixture, stirring. Gradually blend creamed mixture into pot of milk, stirring constantly.
    Fold beaten egg whites into milk and creamed mixture. Add desired amount of rum extract and serve with nutmeg sprinkled on top.
