Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round or flank steak, cut into 1/8-inch strips
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 medium onion
garlic clove, minced
2 green peppers, diced
1 c. bouillon
1 c. drained tomatoes
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Sprinkle steak strips with salt and pepper.
Brown in oil along with onion and garlic.
Stir in with meat while browning. When nicely browned, add green peppers and bouillon.
Simmer about 10 minutes, then add drained tomatoes.
Cook 5 minutes. Meanwhile, mix soy sauce and water with cornstarch.
Cook, stirring until mixture thickens and serve with hot fluffy rice. Double the recipe to serve 4.
