Oven-Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    dash of nutmeg
    1 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 loaf French bread
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients and pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Slice bread 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick slices and place over syrup mixture.
    Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 325\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Serves 8.
