Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. persimmon pulp
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. raisins
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda (put in pulp)
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and beat well.
    Add flour alternately with fruit pulp and soda.
    Add vanilla, nuts and fruit.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
