Jello Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime or lemon Jell-O
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tall can Carnation milk, very cold
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Mix Jell-O, boiling water and sugar.
    Let jell just so it wiggles.
    Mix vanilla wafers and melted butter.
    Put half on bottom of pan.
    Whip the Carnation milk until very thick.
    Add Jell-O mixture and whip a few minutes. Fold in drained crushed pineapple. Put on top of cookie mixture.
    Add rest of cookies on top. Chill.
