Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 Tbsp. white sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together, add flour in three parts. Add vanilla and mix well.
Stir in nuts, roll into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0 until very lightly brown on bottom.
Remove and roll in xxxx sugar.
Let cool and roll again in xxxx sugar.
Makes 25 to 30 cookies.
