Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups sugar and margarine and beat until fluffy.
    Still using the electric mixer, add the vanilla and eggs.
    Add cream of tartar, salt and soda.
    Add the flour gradually.
    In a separate bowl, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and the cinnamon.
    Shape dough into 1-inch size balls; roll balls into sugar and cinnamon.
    Place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake cookies 8 to 10 minutes.
    Remove carefully from the cookie sheets.
    Place on cooling rack.
    Makes approximately 4 dozen.
