Ingredients

1 stick butter, melted
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. finely cut dates
2 3/4 c. Rice Krispies
3/4 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small box coconut
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add beaten egg, sugar and finely cut dates.
Cook in skillet, stirring constantly, at approximately 300\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Remove from heat and add rice cereal, nuts and vanilla. Form 1-inch balls and roll in coconut.
