Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. Karo
    3/4 c. water
    2 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Stir sugar, corn syrup, water and salt until dissolved.
    Boil to spin thread stage (240\u00b0).
    While syrup is cooking, beat egg whites until stiff.
    Slowly pour 1/2 of syrup over egg whites, beating constantly.
    Cook remaining syrup to crack stage (265\u00b0). Slowly pour heavy syrup in candy mixture and continue beating. When mixture holes its shape, add vanilla and nuts and drop from teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
