Sopaipillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    shortening (for frying)
Preparation
    Beat eggs and milk together. Sift in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix. Roll out 1/8-inch thick on a lightly floured board. Cut into small squares. Deep fat fry at 380\u00b0 until brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
    Yields 6 servings.
