Frozen Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 carrot, grated
    1 green pepper, chopped fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. whole mustard seed
Preparation
    Add salt to cabbage and let stand one hour. Squeeze out cabbage and add carrots and green peppers.
    Make a syrup of vinegar, sugar, water, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Mix and boil 1 minute.
    Cool to lukewarm and pour over cabbage mixture. Freeze.
