Icicle Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cucumbers
    6 onions
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 qt. vinegar
    1/4 c. salt
    2 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Wash and cut into thin slices the 3 pounds of cucumbers.
    Soak in ice water 4 hours.
    Drain and pack into sterilized pint jars. Add 1 sliced onion to each jar, and 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed.
