Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour
    3 c. chopped fresh apples
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans or black walnuts
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat well the oil, sugar and eggs.
    Add flour and beat thoroughly.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir to blend well.
    Be sure to flour nuts.
    Pour into greased 11 x 7 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 to 45 minutes.
