Wild Sage Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. dried wild sage
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Beat egg and cheese until smooth; add melted shortening and yeast.
    Combine all ingredients in large bowl, adding flour mixture slowly and beating after each addition until stiff.
    Cover dough with cloth and let rise for 40 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Brush top with butter.
