White Bread Plus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. flour, sifted
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    3 1/4 c. water (120~ to 130~)
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a large mixer bowl, mix together 3 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt, yeast, water and shortening.
    Shortening need not be melted.
    Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
    Add egg and 1 cup flour.
    Beat 1/2 minute at low speed.
    Then at high speed 3 minutes.
    Stir in 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 cups of flour until mixture starts to roll away from side of bowl. Turn out to lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes).
    Return to large clean oiled bowl and let rise approximately 1 hour, covered.
    Should double in size. Punch down and make bread pan size loaves and place in greased bread pans, let rise 1 hour or doubled.
