Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. white corn syrup
    2 whipping cream (8 oz. each)
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Sprinkle nuts in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix sugar, syrup, butter, 1 carton cream in heavy pan. Bring to boil.
    When it starts to boil, add rest of cream.
    Cook to 245\u00b0 to 248\u00b0.
    Pour over nuts. Cut when cool, wrap in wax paper.
