Cole Slaw Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dry mustard or salad mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in saucepan.
    Stir and heat until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Pour over one large head of finely chopped cabbage, grated carrots, chopped green pepper and onion (if desired).
    This Cole Slaw will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks (if it lasts that long).
    This dressing is also good for a garden salad with lettuce, etc.
