Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Scald meal; stir in butter, salt and egg.
    Add baking powder and milk.
    Turn into a greased baking dish and bake 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Serve hot with butter.
