Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. turmeric
1 large white onion
1 qt. sliced cucumbers

Preparation

Mix seasoning and bring to boil.
Add onion and cukes and boil 5 minutes.
Put in jars and seal.
Seal in 2 pints or 1 quart.
