Pineapple Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1 egg well beaten
    1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar.
    Add egg, pineapple, and flavoring.
    Sift flour, add soda, baking powder and salt.
    Add nuts to flour mixture.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed shortening.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Drop by tsp. on well greased baking sheet.
    Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 10 minutes.
