Golden Potato Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. mashed potatoes
6 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. Crisco oil

Preparation

Combine potatoes, flour, milk, egg and onion in a bowl; mix well.
Drop by tablespoon into hot oil. Brown on both sides, pressing with spatula to flatten.
Makes 12 cakes.
