Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    generous dash of pepper
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Vegetable soup
    1/2 can water
    1 c. onion, sliced
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and pepper; pound into steak. Place in skillet with shortening and brown; pour off grease. Add rest of ingredients and cover. Simmer 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tender, stirring often.
