Gumdrop Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour
2 lb. fruit flavored gumdrops
1/2 lb. raisins
1 1/2 cups nutmeats (walnuts or pecans)
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 1/2 cups applesauce
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 tsp. water

Preparation

Sift 2 cups flour over chopped gumdrops, raisins, and nuts; set aside.
