Mexican Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oleo (1/2 stick)
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. anise
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat sugar, oleo, shortening, egg and anise together.
    Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix until smooth.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
    Roll dough and cut with cookie cutters.
    Sprinkle with colored sugar.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
