Quick Caramel Frosting(Makes Enough For One 9 X 13-Inch Or Two 8-Inch Layers) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cream
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Combine first four ingredients in saucepan.
Cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.
Continue to cook without stirring until mixture boils.
Pour into mixer bowl and beat on high until it begins to thicken.
Add vanilla and cream.
Continue to beat.
Add confectioners sugar until of spreading consistency.
Quickly spread on cake.
