Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 yellow cake layers
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple or fruit cocktail
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    2 (8 oz.) tubs Cool Whip
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Prepare pudding as directed.
    Layer in trifle bowl as cake layer, fruit, pudding, nuts, Cool Whip and coconut.
    Add second layer in same order.
    Decorate top with maraschino cherries.
