Sweet-Sour Beef 'N' Cabbage - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. quick-cooking rolled oats
2 Tbsp. snipped parsley
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 medium head cabbage
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. cider vinegar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
Preparation
-
In skillet, cook beef, onion, celery and green pepper until meat is browned.
Drain off excess fat.
Sprinkle meat mixture with oats, parsley, the 3/4 teaspoon salt, garlic powder and the 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
