Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 c. sliced apples (6 to 8 medium apples)
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2/3 c. enriched flour
    2 c. quick or old fashioned uncooked roll oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 stick melted butter or oleo
Preparation
    Place apples in greased, shallow baking dish (2-quart casserole).
    Sprinkle with lemon juice.
    Combine dry ingredients, add melted butter, mixing until crumbly.
    Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
    Bake in a moderate oven at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
    Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream.
    If apples are very tart, sweeten slightly.
    Serves 6.
