Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. yellow corn meal
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
8 to 10 hot dogs

Preparation

Combine corn meal, flour and salt.
Add milk, egg and oil; mix well.
Insert wooden skewers in one end of each hot dog.
Coat with additional flour; dip into corn meal mixture.
Fry a few at a time in deep hot (375\u00b0) oil, until brown.
